Terms of Service

What I do, and what I can't promise.

Short on purpose. This covers using the website and working with me as your travel advisor.

Who you're dealing with

Magical Travel by Ciera, LLC is a Florida limited liability company based in Largo, Florida. Ciera Easterday is an independent travel advisor with Travelmation, her host agency, and bookings are placed through Travelmation.

Florida Seller of Travel registration

Florida requires sellers of travel to register with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and to show that registration number in their advertising:

Magical Travel by Ciera, LLC is registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel. Registration No. TI118943.

What I do

I plan trips and book them on your behalf: listening to what you're after, researching options, presenting them, holding and booking the reservation with the supplier, and staying reachable before and during the trip. Advice I give is my professional recommendation based on what you've told me.

I'm paid a commission by the supplier when a trip is booked, and that commission is already built into the published price. If a planning or service fee applies to a particular trip, I'll tell you the amount in writing before you commit to anything — you'll never find one on an invoice you didn't agree to first.

What I don't do

  • I don't operate the travel. The cruise line, resort, park, airline or tour operator does, and they're responsible for delivering it.
  • I'm not an insurance company. I can point you to travel protection options, but the policy is a contract between you and the insurer.
  • I don't give legal, medical, tax or immigration advice.
  • Passports, visas, entry rules, and health and vaccination requirements are yours to meet. I'll flag what I know of, but check the official government source for your destination and your citizenship — those rules change without notice and I can't be responsible for them.

Pricing and availability

Every price I quote comes from the supplier and belongs to the supplier. Prices and availability change, sometimes within the hour, and a quote is not held for you until a deposit is paid and the supplier confirms the booking. Taxes, port fees, resort fees and gratuities are set by the supplier and will be shown as part of the quote where they apply.

If a price moves between my quote and your deposit, I'll tell you before anything is charged.

The supplier's terms govern the booking

Once a trip is booked, your contract for the travel itself is with the supplier. Their terms and conditions — payment schedules, name-change rules, cancellation windows, refund and credit policies, and what happens if they change or cancel a sailing, flight or stay — govern that booking, and they apply to you whether or not I'm the one who booked it.

I'll send you those terms before you pay a deposit and I'll walk you through the parts that matter. Please read them. The cancellation policy is the part people wish they'd read.

Travel protection

I recommend travel protection on every trip, and I'll say so again if you decline it. Whether a claim is paid is entirely the insurer's decision under the policy you buy, not mine.

Using this website

The content here — trip write-ups, filming-location guides, photography and the text of these pages — belongs to Magical Travel by Ciera, LLC unless it's credited otherwise. You're welcome to read it, print it and share a link. Please don't republish it as your own.

Trip pages link out to restaurants, hotels, tourism boards and other independent sites so you can check details at the source. Those sites aren't mine, and a link isn't an endorsement or a guarantee that what's there is current.

I write the trip content carefully and re-check it, but hours, prices, closures and park policies change constantly. Treat what's here as a starting point, not a guarantee — and if you spot something out of date, please tell me.

Third-party brand names on this site are used to describe the trips I plan. The full trademark note is in the footer of every page.

Responsibility

I'll do my job with reasonable care and skill. What I can't take responsibility for is things outside my control: a supplier's performance or failure, weather, mechanical problems, strikes, closures, schedule changes, or a government's entry decisions.

Nothing on this page limits any responsibility that can't be limited under Florida or federal law.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If I change them, the date at the top of this page changes with them; the version in force for your trip is the one published when you booked.
