What happens to what you tell me.

Written to describe what this site and I actually do — not to sound thorough. Where I don't yet have a firm answer, it says so.

Last updated: August 2026

The short version

  • This site records how visitors move around it, using Microsoft Clarity. That includes a replay of your visit.
  • Every inquiry form lives on TravelJoy's site, not this one. Nothing you type in one passes through magicaltravelbyciera.com.
  • What you tell me is used to plan and book your trip, and shared only with the people needed to do that.
  • I don't sell, rent or trade your information, and I don't hand it to anyone for advertising.

Who this is

Magical Travel by Ciera, LLC is a Florida limited liability company based in Largo, Florida. It's run by Ciera Easterday, an independent travel advisor with Travelmation, her host agency. This policy covers the website magicaltravelbyciera.com and what I do with an inquiry that comes through it.

Session recording: Microsoft Clarity

Every page of this site loads Microsoft Clarity, a free analytics tool from Microsoft. It's worth being clear about what that is, because it's more than a page counter.

Clarity records how visitors use the site: mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and taps, which pages you moved between, and how long you stayed. It assembles that into a replay of the visit that I can watch, and into heatmaps showing where people click and how far down a page they get. It also collects the technical information your browser sends with any request — your IP address, device and screen size, browser and operating system, and the page that sent you here.

There are no forms on this site itself. Every inquiry form is on TravelJoy's site, where Clarity is not installed, so nothing you type into an inquiry is captured in a Clarity replay.

I use it for one thing: finding out where the site confuses people or breaks, so I can fix it. Microsoft processes and stores this data on its own systems, under its own terms:

If you'd rather not be recorded: any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics scripts will stop Clarity from loading. Nothing on this site depends on it — every page works exactly the same without it.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to your browser's local storage. There is no login, no shopping cart and no advertising code here.

Microsoft Clarity does set cookies in your browser, so that it can tell one visit from another and recognize a returning visitor. Those cookies are Microsoft's; the current list and how long each one lasts are documented in the Microsoft Privacy Statement linked above.

Apart from Clarity, nothing on this site is loaded from another company's servers — the typefaces, images and stylesheets all come from this site's own hosting, so no one else sees your visit simply because a page loaded.

The trip inquiry forms

Every "plan a trip" form on this site is built and hosted by TravelJoy, the client-management system I use. The buttons here open a TravelJoy page in a new browser tab. Nothing you type goes through magicaltravelbyciera.com, and nothing from a form is stored on this site.

What a form asks for is the information needed to plan a trip: who's traveling, the kind of trip you have in mind, rough dates and how flexible they are, a budget range, and how to reach you. If accessibility, dietary or medical needs matter to the trip, there's room to tell me — and how much you share is entirely your call.

A submitted form is stored by TravelJoy and lands in my TravelJoy inbox. TravelJoy handles it under its own privacy policy.

What I do with it: read it, reply — usually within one business day — and use it to put trip options together for you. Anything you tell me about accessibility, dietary or medical needs is used for planning your trip and nothing else. I don't sell, rent or trade it, and I don't give it to anyone for advertising.

Who else sees your information

Only the people who have to, and only so your trip can be planned and booked.

  • Travelmation, my host agency. I'm an independent travel advisor with Travelmation, and bookings are placed through the agency. The details a booking needs — traveler names as they appear on ID, contact details, and dates — pass through Travelmation's systems.
  • The companies that actually run your trip. A cruise line, a resort, Disney, an airline, a tour operator, an insurer. To hold a reservation they need traveler names and dates, plus anything relevant to what you've asked for — an accessible cabin, a dietary restriction, a mobility device that needs space.
  • TravelJoy, which stores your inquiry and our correspondence, as described above.

That's the list. If a legal obligation ever required me to disclose something, I'd tell you unless I were prohibited from doing so.

Payments

This site takes no payments and holds no card details. Deposits and balances are paid to the supplier or through Travelmation's booking process, and I'll tell you exactly what is due and to whom before you commit to anything.

How long it's kept

Your inquiry and any booking file stay in TravelJoy and in my email while I'm working with you, and afterwards for as long as I need them for business, tax and supplier records. If you'd like your file deleted sooner, ask — see below.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information directly from anyone under 13 through it. Family trips obviously involve children — when you tell me their names and ages, you're doing that as the adult arranging the travel, and that information is used to book the trip and nothing else.

Asking me about your information

Email cieraeasterday@travelmation.net or call or text (940) 642-0384 and tell me what you want:

  • a copy of what I hold about you
  • a correction to something that's wrong
  • your file deleted
  • to stop hearing from me

I'll get back to you within a few business days. If a supplier or Travelmation already holds records for a trip you've booked, I'll tell you plainly what I can and can't delete on my own — a booked reservation isn't mine to erase.

Depending on where you live, your state or country may give you rights over your personal information beyond what's described here. Wherever you are, you can make any of the requests above and I'll do what I can.

Where this is run from

Magical Travel by Ciera, LLC operates from Largo, Florida, United States, and works with clients across the US. TravelJoy and Microsoft are US companies; their own policies describe where and how they process what they hold.

Changes to this policy

If what I do changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There's no mailing list for policy updates — the date is the honest signal.
